Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Autonomous University of Madrid in 1989. PhD from the University of Oxford (United Kingdom) in 1992. Doctoral thesis: “Biological studies on endometriosis”, a topic on which she has numerous publications.
She worked in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Service at John Radcliffe Hospital and Churchill Hospital (Oxford, United Kingdom) from 1992 to 1996, collaborating especially with the In Vitro Fertilization Unit at John Radcliffe Hospital (Oxford Fertility Unit). Since 1996 he has worked at URH-García del Real.
Collaborator of the Francisco de Vitoria University Center (Faculty of Biosanitary Sciences, 2000-2006). Member of the International Society for Mild Approaches in Assisted Reproduction (ISMAAR) since 2008. Associate editor of the journal “Human Reproduction” (2003-2005). Member of the Editorial Committee of the "Revista Iberoamericana de Fertility" since 2012. Member of the Registration Committee of the SEF (2007-2011). Member of the Embryonic Health Interest Group of the SEF (Spanish Fertility Society) since 2005.
